Saving a Ruined Comforter
You go out to buy a new and very expensive comforter. Showing to your friends and family to let them see the great taste you have when buying things. Now that you got it home you can’t wait to sleep on it.
Having your new comforter for a couple of weeks your love started to show. It now has stains on it. You think that’s ok I will just throw it in the wash but, after see the only dry clean tag you decided a better idea was to wash on delicate wash. When you take it out it is not as clean as you wanted it still had stains, so you tried a heavy duty cycle that didn’t help because it still had stains and it got rip from the power of the heavy duty cycle. Well now all there is to do is to dry your comforter and maybe it will be ok but it comes out with little balls of lint on it. You know how to sew so you will try to salvage your bedding with your great sewing skills. After all that you look at your new or not so new comforter and decide the best place for it is in the garbage.
BUT WAIT! Don’t throw out your new comforter that you bought, there is a way to save and turn it into the lovely piece of bedding that you love so much. Pets Beneath the Bed
Several pet owners out there have had the experience of their pets enjoying spending time underneath their beds. Both dogs and cats enjoy this kind of space because it offers protection, and offers a private retreat from people and other animals. Taking care of your down pillows doesn’t stop there. When not using your pillows store the pillows away in a well ventilated cupboard or closet to prevent molding. Cover them with a zippered case to use under your normal pillow case to keep away body oils from spoiling the down. If your pillows get to old, ripped or torn have them replaced. Proper care of your down pillows will give you lots of years of enjoyable sleep.
