Waterbed Sheets
Waterbeds are like our regular bed you buy. They come in different size from super single, single, double, queen size and king size waterbeds. When buying waterbed sheets one must be sure to measure to get the proper size and fit. The depth of the mattress is another important aspect to take into consideration and also the frame type. Hard frame waterbeds are measure on a chart call the California bed size chart. Most waterbeds are longer then regular beds. Water bed sheets are about 84inches long, regular sizes are 74inches.
Some waterbed sheets come with the top and bottom sewn together at the bottom of the sheets. This type of waterbed sheets are made to fit the free flowing mattresses that are set inside a frame .The type of waterbed that we have is like a mattress that the top zippers open and you have individual tubes inside fill with water. You can buy waterbed sheets for this type of bed, but I found out after buying special sheets for this type of waterbed that regular sheets with deep pockets will fit over the corner perfect. Less expensive then waterbed sheets.
Waterbed sheets come in three popular materials cotton, satin, and flannel. Waterbed sheets have a thread count that lets you know how many threads in each square inch of fabric. It is advisable when buying waterbed sheets to include a comforter. A matching or complimentary comforter adds style to the sheet set. Another advantage to buying sheet and comforter is that they are usually less expensive when bought together. They feature all the things a waterbed owners needs for their bed in one package.
