Bathrobes come in many different sizes, types and materials. They are usually worn after a bath or a swim and are also called a house coat or dressing gown .Bathrobes are made from different materials know as cotton, silk, micro fiber and wool.
Cotton bathrobes absorb water easily and are used normally by pools, beaches and after showers. Cotton is suitable in hot climates as it tends to absorb perspiration.
Silk bathrobes are elegant glossy fabric composed mostly of fibroin. The silk bathrobes are more expensive and are not suitable in wet surroundings as it does not absorb water like cotton. They are use for wearing around before bed and hanging out in the bedroom.
Micro fiber is a synthetic fabric developed to maximize water absorption. Wool is common during colder climates.
